![]() These games are packaged within a rather nifty interface: a pre-rendered arcade where players cycle through the games via 3D rendered arcade cabinets. These modes can be chosen on-the-fly by tapping the Select button. Because of the unique vertical monitor configurations of the Game Boy Advance, Digital Eclipse has offered up different ways to play the games: in a full-screen "squished" view, a pixel-perfect "scrolling" mode, and an option to play the games rotating the GBA 90 degrees. Pac-Man, Pac-Man and Rally X are currently near spot-on to their arcade counterparts. Only Galaga wasn't selectable, and Dig Dug was running just a little slower than the arcade game. ![]() We received an early-in-development version of the collection, which featured four of the five games completely playable. Oddly, all but Rally X have been available on the Game Boy Advance in previous Namco collections, which are still available on shelves for budget-style prices. Unfortunately, the GBA compilation won't be as extensive as the console iterations, only featuring five games in one cartridge: Pac-Man, Ms. ![]() This new collection is being produced by the emulation nuts over at Digital Eclipse. ![]()
